Happy Jazz Appreciation Month!

In 2001, the Smithsonian Institution initiated “Jazz Appreciation Month.” The “We Always Swing”® Jazz Series is again pleased to participate with organizations across the country and around the world in this month-long celebration. From April 1–30, organizations will cumulatively produce hundreds of concerts, educational activities, film screenings, masterclasses, exhibitions, and the like to draw attention to the great American art form known as “Jazz.” The Jazz Series has scheduled a range of events during April.

Here is a glimpse at the 2017 Jazz Series “Jazz Appreciation Month” Calendar. Please note: events' times, dates, and locations are subject to change. We encourage everyone to participate — and bring their friends along as well!
