Alisha Pattillo Quartet

Alisha Pattillo is an Australian born, Singaporean-raised saxophonist now residing in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In addition to leading her own jazz group, "Alisha’s Quartet" she performs regularly in support of her colleagues' ensembles and is a woodwind educator. Pattillo started playing the saxophone at when she was 11 years old at the United World College of Southeast Asia. Five years later she could be spotted playing in professional bands on the Singapore Club & Bar scene. Pattillo returned to Australia for her undergrad studies and graduated In 2006 with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Saxophone from the prestigious Queensland Conservatorium of Music. In 2007 Alisha relocated to Houston, Texas to further pursue her musical career and became a major player on the blues and jazz scene. In 2012 Alisha released her debut CD Along For The Ride; three years later Billabong Island Sound arrived; in 2017, she delivered H-Town Collective. Houston also presented her with the opportunity to perform alongside national acts such as Portugal. The Man; Archie Bell & The Drells; Steve Tyrell; and Joe Sample. In 2018 Alisha moved to Northwest Arkansas and has been taking the region by storm. This marks her first Jazz Series/Murry's appearance.

Ben Harris is a versatile guitarist whose playing reveals a wide variety of styles and influences.  Originally from Pine Bluff, Ark, Harris grew up playing rock 'n' roll, blues and folk guitar and later studied Classical guitar at Western Kentucky University, finishing his B.A. in music, studying jazz guitar and composition at University Of Arkansas-Little Rock. In addition to teaching and performing, Harris serves as Director of Operations for the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas.

Garrett Jones is a consummate musician and virtuoso bassist who brings energy to every performance. Jones has toured with “The Official Blues Brothers Revue,” working under noted late-night band leader Paul Shaffer. Additionally, the bassist has participated in Broadway touring productions including “West Side Story,” “Spam-a-Lot” and “Wicked,” among others.

Darren Novotny has been playing drums, recording and teaching professionally since the mid-1970s.  He's worked with the likes of Herb Ellis, Sheila Jordan, New York Voices, Larry Coryell, Lee Konitz, Steve Wilson, Vic Juris, Terell Stafford, Art Porter, Cory Christiansen and Charles Thomas, to name a few of his bandstand credits. Novotny is also a top-shelf recording engineer with extensive experience in studio techniques, recording, mixing and mastering. He works out of his Nob Hill Studio located in Springdale Ark.
