In 1980, legendary jazz guitarist Pat Martino, then in his mid-30s and enjoying world-wide success, suffered a brain aneurysm. Unexpectedly - and instantly - his ability to play was silenced as emergency surgery entirely stripped him of his memory. Martino Unstrung, ?lmed from 2006-2007, examines what turns out ultimately to be a fascinating tale of music and memory.
